At Chesterton Academy of Rochester, we see sports as an opportunity to glorify God versus gain earthly glory. Through competition, practice, and games, we are challenged to be the best version of ourselves. Sports are a gateway to learning skills and virtues such as: perseverance, determination, fortitude, and teamwork.

Through officially organized sports and unofficial games for fun, Chesterton students strive to play for the joy of their sport which ultimately reflects the delight of God in His children. For some, sports are the means by which they shine their light into the world.
